Over the years, National cadet Corps has developed into the premier youth organization in the country. Today it has been established itself as a variable auxiliary to the education system. The Corps is engaged in the character building of the student community, as a national investment for the future. NCC helps students in shaping a multifaceted personality.

NCC training helps in the development of Leadership, Cooperation, Discipline, Responsibility and Service. It makes Cadets tough and prepares them to meet the hardships of life by developing courage and presence of mind. The main task of the NCC is to build a strong youth force and aims at Nation Building. Taking part in the Republic Day parade is one of the greater experiences a student can have.

To Develop Character, Comradeship, Discipline, Leadership, Secular Outlook, Spirit of Adventure, and Ideals of Selfless Service amongst the Youth of the Country.

To Create a Human Resource of Organized, Trained and Motivated Youth, To Provide Leadership in all Walks of life and be Always Available for the Service of the Nation.

To Provide a Suitable Environment to Motivate the Youth to Take Up a Career in the Armed Forces.

N C C Unit of the Al-Ameen College is under the 22k (BN) of Eloor. It was started in the year 2003. The Total strength of the corps is 104.We have the Corps Company for both girls and boys. Our company has participated in various National and Regional Camps. Benefits regarding NCC cadets are given only as per the university rules.

Enrollment of the first year cadets On August 2017
The enrollment of the first year cadets were done in the month of August in which 42 1 st year cadets were enrolled to the unit.The Onam Anual Trainning Camp was held in the first week of September at MES Marampalliy in which our 11 cadets participated including 2 nd years and 3 rd year cadets.
Inter National YOGA DAY On 21.06.2017
The first event was celebration of Inter National YOGA DAY on 21 st june 2017 at UC college,Aluva.A a combined event under 22(k) Bn. The celebrations were also held in the college coordinated by the NCC unit of Al-Ameen college.
Two Cadets are selected for the Republic Day Parade in the year 2016 at New Delhi. They are representing Kerala State and belongs From 22 Kerala BN. NCC, Eloor.

Four Institutions which reported from 1 Kerala (Bn) NCC of the Alappuzha & Cherthala (district) also took part in the Camp. The Camp inspired one and all and proved that Al-Ameen College, Edathala, was more than capable of hosting such an event.
Our NCC Unit celebrated World Environment Day in our college campus. Our NCC cadets planted various sapling in the premises and all of them actively participated in the celebration. This year theme was "ONE WORLD AND ONE ENVIRONMENT".
WORLD YOGA DAY CELEBRATION 2015 Held On 21/06/2015
Our 22 Kerala NCC battalion celebrated "WORLD YOGA DAY" at Refineries school Ambalamedu on 21st June 2015. From our unit 55 cadets participated in the programme. Around 2000 NCC Cadets altogether done the event . 27 institutions participated in the Yoga activity.
The unit celebrated Independence Day in a peaceful manner. The flay hosting was done by Dr Junaid Rahiman , (Manger Al-Ameen college Edathala) after that he gave Independence message all NCC ,NSS ,Red Cross members ,Hosteller Teachers college Alumni members and public participated for the function.
Our Unit Had Conducted Aids Awareness Programme On 1st December 2014 In Our Seminar Hall. Our College Principal, Prof K.M Abdul Kareem Principal, Al- Ameen College, Edathala, Presided Over The Function And Classes Taken By Mr Sreeram And Mr Shajin Joseph (Junior Health Inspectors)Of Primary Health Centre ,Malayidomthuruthu . The Class Was Arranged For All The Students And Staff Of Al- Ameen College, Edathala
Our N.C.C Unit Had Conducted World Aids Day Awareness Rally On 1st December, 2014 In Association With All The Departments Of Our College.The Rally Was Started From College Campus To Kompara Junction And Back. The Students Carried Placards And Slogans Against Aids.
The NCC Enrollment for the year 2014-2017 was held in the month of July with the Battalion Commanding Officer and Army Officers were present in the recruitment. For these 38 cadets was enrolled by the unit.
WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2014 Held on 05/06/2014
The N.C.C Unit celebrated "WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY - 2014" at 05/06/2013 (Thursday). The program was inaugurated by Prof. K.M Abdul karim (Principal, Al-Ameen College Edathala), the cadet planted tree saplings around the college campus , the theme was "Small Islands and Climate Change" and the official slogan for the year 2014 is "Raise Your Voice Not the Sea Level".
On 26th January 2014 our NCC unit celebrated 65th Republic Day in our campus. Our chief guest was M.A Mahim, Standing Committee development Chairman, Edathala Grama Panchayath. Our college Principal, rof. K.M Abdul Kareem presided over the function. Our cadets were present for the function and general salute with rifle was given for the tri color.
Guard Of Honor
On 1st feburary 2014, Al-Ameen College NCC unit under 22 Kerala NCC Battalion, Eloor given an Guard Of Honor to the Honorable Chief Minister Of Kerala, Shri Omman Chandy in Al-Ameen public School, Edapally. The mounting was given with the SLR which was lead by S.U.O Amal K.M. In the guards there were 8 cadets and for pilot 2 cadets.
WORLD AIDS DAY Celebration on 02 Dec 2013
The unit celebrated “WORLD AIDS DAY” by having Rally on 02 Dec 2013 at 10 am. The Rally was flagged off by prof. Abdul Kareem (Principal) Al-Ameen College,Edathala .The rally was from our college premises to Kombara junction. Cadets of our institution participated for the rally .The cadets raised placards all through the way, after that a key note address was delivered at government U.P school Kombara and Al-Ameen International school, Edathala by Lt.Dr Dino Varghese the program was concluded at 12 pm..
N.C.C Day Celebration On 26/11/2013
The unit celebrated N.C.C day on 26 Nov 2013 at 10 am. The chief guest of the function was M.D Ibrahim Sub Major 22 Kerala Battalion, Eloor. The welcome speech was delivered by Lt. Dr Dino Varghese A.N.O Al-Ameen college N.C.C unit, then prof. Abdul Kareem (principal) delivered the presidential address, felicitation was given by two of our cadets Mohammed Suhail and Aslam Sahkeer. S.U.O Amal K.M delivered the vote of thanks .55 cadets of our unit attended the function .after the formal function our cadets explicated their talents There program concluded with the N.C.C song
The Eranakulam Group NCC Headquarter conducted "Beach Cleaning Program" on behalf of NCC Day celebration. Our unit 60 cadets participated for the program
The N.C.C cadets assembled promptly at 8:30 A.M to celebrate Gandhi Jayathis in a fitting manner .Forty cadets took part in the programme which centered round the theme of "A Clean Campus". Accordingly the weeds were cleared and new seedlings planted .The cadets also sowed seeds around the college building .
Al-Ameen College, Edathala celebrated 67th INDEPENDENCE DAY in a peaceful manner .On part of that the college N.C.C UNIT conducted patriotic song competition, Quiz program and Elocution competition on 14th Aug 2013.. On 15th Aug 2013 flag Hoisting ceremony was held at 8:45am, the flag was Hoisted by A.I FASIAL Sub Inspector of police, Aluva. After that the chief guest and Principal gave Independence Day messages. The chief guest was welcomed by giving pilot by our two cadets. After that a tree saplings was held in order to promote afforeststation in the campus.
On 5th Aug 2013 after Idamalayar Dam (2nd Largest Dam in Kerala) opened its shutters due to heavy rain .Due to that reason bottom areas of Kanjoor Panchyath those are slum ones where immerged in water. After knowing this news, on 7th Aug 2013, the local N.C.C cadets of Al -Ameen unit decided to help the victims. 13 cadets of our unit cleaned affected area and rearranged the household things. After that the cadets visited the temporary camp site and interacted with the victims. The local Politian’s, Media persons and Dept of Health, Kanjoor appreciated our Al-Ameen college N.C.C unit and they also said that only our NC.C unit came to visit the victims.
Valedictory Ceremony of Al-Ameen College on 12-04-2013
Valedictory Ceremony of Al-Ameen College N.C.C unit was conducted on 12-04-2013 at 10 am at the College Seminar Hall. The Chief Guest was Lt. col H.Padmanabhan Commanding officer of 22 KER (BN) Eloor. In the occasion our Principal Prof K.M Abdul Karim presided over the function. Sri. M.B Sasidharan HOD, Department of Commerce also presided the function. Inaugural speech was given by our Chief Guest and also felicitated the outstanding performance of outgoing cadets. He appreciated the college Principal and N.C.C Unit, that under 22 KER ( BN) Eloor , Al-Ameen College who had given outstanding performance in social activity such as pension Scheme, palliative care, cycle Rally on waste management etc. He also pointed out that 22 KER (BN) is so proud of Al-Ameen College N.C.C Unit. In this function,75 cadets participated and some of our senior shared their experience of their Two year Services. The chief guest also gives Inspiring thoughts and encourage Cadets to join the Indian Army. The Ceremony was colourful. Some of the Junior cadets showcased their cultural talents.

NCC Unit of Al-Ameen College Conducted a Bicycle race on Republic Day for the conservation of waste pollution Principal Prof K.M Abdul Karim inaugurated the function. Aluva Circle Inspector Shri. Jayakrishnan flagged off the event. The cycle rally started from the College Campus to Marampilly, Edathala Panchayat, G.T.N ,Choondy, Cochin Bank Junction, Kodikuthumala and ended at Kombara Junction. The Valedictory programme was inaugurated by the Forward Block standing Committee Chairman Shri Mahin. NCC Officer Lt. Dino Varghese delivered the Vote of Thanks.
National Youth Day celebration
9. NCC units organized a programme for all the students and also celebrated the birthday of Swami Vivekananda on 12-01-2013. This year we celebrated 150th Birth day of swami Vivekananda. Our cadets organized a elocution competition on the topic” ROLE OF YOUTH IN WELFARE OF THE SOCIETY”.13 N.C.C cadets participated in the competition. A speech was delivered by Sri. The College NCC Unit organised a seminar on World Human Rights Day. Adv. Thankachan Vithayathil delivered the key note address on this occasion. The meeting was also attended by the NSS, Red Cross Unit as well as the staff and students of the college.

Alpha Pain 7 Palliative care day
Alpha Pain 7 Palliative care day was celebrated. In connection with this programme, our N.C.C Unit participated in the programme whole heartedly. A Walkathon was arranged by the “WORLD HOSPICE & PALLIATIVE CARE DAY” Celebrations in connection with this programme. Our unit also participated in the walkathons from Marine Drive to Fine Arts Hall, Kochi.
Anti-Ragging campaign was conducted on 28-06-2012
Anti-Ragging campaign was conducted on the campus by the NCC and NSS. An anti-ragging squad comprising of teachers was put together to curb any untoward incidents on campus.
World Environment Day Celebration on 05/06/2012
World Environment Day was celebrated under the joint auspices of the Nature Club, NSS and NCC. Prof.Gopalakrishna Moorthi was the chief guest the day.
