National Merit Scholarship (NMS).

Those who have passed Plus Two with 50% marks can apply for the scholarship. Those with income below Rs. 25,000/- will get Rs. 60/- per month and those with income above Rs. 25,000/- will get a National Prize of Rs. 100/- and a merit certificate. Application form can be obtained from: The Special Officer of Scholarships, Directorate of College Education, Sanskrit College Campus, Thiruvananthapuram - 695 034.

Application forms can be had from the college office.

District Merit Scholarship.

Students who secure 80% or more marks in S.S.L.C. Examination are eligible for this scholarship. Applications should be sent through their school itself. Later, they can renew the scholarship at Plus Two and Degree levels. (Students of P.G. Classes should send fresh application, however). Application for this can be had from the following address: The Special Officer of Scholarships, Directorate of Collegiate Education, Sanskrit College Campus, Thiruvananthapuram - 695 034.

Students who have secured 90% and more marks are eligible for this scholarship. This has no income limit.

NCERT Scholarship.

Those who have cleared National Talent Research Scheme Test are eligible for the Scholarship. Annual income should not exceed Rs. 50,000/- Application form can be had from National Council of Education Research and Training, Sree Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi - 110 016.

National Loan Scholarship.

Those who have minimum 50% marks and with income less than Rs. 25,000/- are eligible for this.

Kerala State Government Scholarship.

Students of low-income groups are eligible for this scholarship.Application forms can be obtained from the college office. Application should be accompanied with income certificate and a copy of mark list. Application should be renewed every year.

Hindi Scholarship.

The scholarship is for students of Non-Hindi speaking states for studying Hindi beyond Plus - Two level. Applicants should have passed previous examinations. Filled in application along with copies of mark lists should be submitted in the college office. Application forms can be had from the special Officer for Scholarships, Directorate of Collegiate. Education (Annex), Sanskrit College Campus, Thiruvananthapuram - 695 034, by sending a request with a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

K.P.C.R. Scholarship.

All students who come under the low income category as mentioned below can avail this scholarship.

I DC - Rs. 25,000/-
I PG - Rs. 42,000/-

Application should be submitted along with attested true copies of S.S.L.C. Book (1 st page), mark lists and income certificate from village officer). This is to be renewed every year.

Labour Welfare Funds Scholarship.

The children of members of Kerala Labour Welfare Board are eligible for this scholarship. The application can be obtained from the Labour Welfare Fund Commissioner, Vazhuthakkadu, Thiruvananthapuram - 34.

Fishermen Scholarship.

This is only for the children of Fishermen and Fish Workers. There is no income limit. Scholarship should be renewed every year. Application should contain copy of the S.S.L.C. Book page No. 1 and copies of certificates revealing educational qualification. The eligible students should get counter signature on the application from the Fisheries Officer before it is submitted to the college office.

OBC Educational Concession.

OBC Students with low income are eligible for the stipend.

Application along with caste and income certificates should be submitted to the college office within 5 days from the beginning of the course. Application forms can be had from the college office. This should be renewed every year.

OEC Educational Concession.

Dheevara, Vala, Kudumbi and Christian converted communities are eligible for this stipend. There is no income limit. Lumpsum grant, stipend and fee concession are available for the eligible. They should obtain application form from the college office at the timee of admission by showing the caste certificate. Applications should be submitted within 5 days from starting the course.

SPH (Scholarship for the Physically Handicapped).

This scholarship is given to those students who have 40% physical disability. Income should not exceed Rs. 24,000/- per annum. Application forms can be had from the college office at the time of admission by showing a physician's certificate revealing the disability. The filled in application form should be submitted in the college office within 5 days from the commencement of the classes.

SC Educational Concession (For Scheduled Caste Students).

They can obtain application form from the college office by showing the caste certificate. Filled in application should be submitted in the college- office within 5 days from the commencement of classes. The scholarship includes lumpsum grant, stipend and fees concession. This should be renewed every year.

ST Educational Concession (For Scheduled Tribe Students).

They can have the application form at the time of admission from the college office by showing the Tribe certificate. Filled in application should be submitted in the college office within 5 days from starting the course. The Scholarship includes lumpsum grant, stipend and fees concession.

Post Metric Scholarship.

First year Christian, Muslim students with 50% marks and whose annual income below 2 lakhs can apply. Scholarship amount Rs.3000/-.

Central Sector Scholarship.

Students who have secured 80% of marks and whose annual income below Rs. 4,50,000/- can apply. Eligible candidates need to approach the scholarship counter with income certificate and caste certificate. Scholarship amount Rs.10,000/- yearly.

Suvarna Jubilee Merit Scholarship.

Students from B.P.L. family who have secured 60% marks can apply. Eligible candidates need to approach the scholarship counter with photo copy of BPL card attested by Principal, income certificate and photo copy of X th and plus 2 certificate. Scholarship amount Rs.10,000/- yearly.

Muslim Girl Scholarship.

Muslim girl students with 50% marks whose annual income below Rs. 2,50,000/- can apply. Scholarship amount is Rs.3,000/- yearly for U.G. and Rs.4000/-.yearly for P.G.

Kerala State Merit Scholarship.

Students who have secured 50% marks and whose annual income below Rs.1,00,000/- can apply. Scholarship amount Rs.1250/- yearly.

Hindi Scholarship.

Students from Non Hindi speaking states can apply. B.A/B.Sc./B.Com. Students who have taken Hindi as their second language with 60% marks can apply. No income limit. Scholarship amount Rs.5,000/- yearly.

Blind / Physically Handicapped Scholarship.

Apply only Blind/Physically handicapped students whose annual income is below Rs.25,000/-Scholarship amount Rs.5,000/- yearly.

Kerala State Higher Education Scholarship.

Aided Students with minimum of 50% can apply.

For U.G. Students:

Second YearRs. 18,000/-
Third YearRs. 24,000/-

For P.G. Students:

First YearRs. 40,000/-
Second YearRs. 50,000/-
