Commerce stream is becoming the most demanding courses while we make an analysis of different programmes in arts and science educational institutions. The post graduate department every year organises an orientation programme for freshers as when the first year students admission process ends. During the year 2020 -2021, the department has organised an orientation programme on the topic “ Choose commerce and be one among the few men at the top” in an online mode. The resource person for the programme was Dr. Pradeep Kumar N, Assistant Profeseor, MG College, Trivandrum.

The session has provided new insights towards choosing commerce as a career and what are the options to be selected after their graduation courses, and about different add on and certificate courses which can add to their programme while doing their graduation. The students were highly impressed and motivated with this event and was sure about making plans for their career advancement. The students commented that this session surely helped and guided them to make and confirm their future plans.
